Noticeable improvements in travel

METAV benefits from adjustments to travel and immigration requirements.

For this reason we would like to inform you of the latest travel and entry guidelines from the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry – AUMA.
These will bring noticeable improvements for travel:
As a matter of principle, trade fair participants can travel to Germany from abroad. The German Government no longer categorises any country as a Covid risk region – this means that all former quarantine and registration requirements applying upon entering the country will also be lifted for trade fair visitors and exhibitors.

Digital Exhibitor Passes

Our exhibitor passes are now available digitally. The new passes offer many benefits to make your trade fair experience easier. You will automatically receive your free exhibitor voucher code by e-mail and distribute them to your employees. They can easily redeem the codes online. If the free codes are not enough, you can still buy exhibitor voucher codes in the online order system until the last day of the fair.

Important: Don't forget your bus and train ticket.
Free travel to and from events at the Düsseldorf venue by local public transport (ÖPNV), which was previously included in the exhibitor passes, will no longer be possible since January 2022, a ticket must be purchased. For more information, visit www.messe-duesseldorf.com/arrival.

Digital & real the perfect match - Lead generation: digital Web sessions, forum, video productions

At METAV, we are using hybrid elements. In addition to the established web sessions, our live forum will be professionally recorded and be available online. In addition, you can book a tour of your presence exhibition stand, which we will also stream. These options give you the chance to generate even more leads and the single sign on on the websites increases the contact quality.

Update: Social media campaign - your presentation as a short video (free of charge)

The postponement of METAV to June 2022 has shifted the schedule of our social media campaign. From 02 June 2022, we will start the METAV highlight weeks and offer you to share a short video of up to 59 seconds length for free via our channels. Freight Forwarding Services

Important: On 16 June 2022 (Corpus Christi) you can access the fairgrounds from P1 via Gate 1.

Advice on setting up and delivering your machines / exhibits: Please take into account that wire and Tube will already be open to visitors on the last set-up day, 20 June 2022.

For this reason, we kindly ask you to deliver large machines and large exhibits, which require unloading by crane or forklift, by Sunday, 19 June 2022.

Please note that is not permitted to operate your own cranes and forklift trucks on the fairgrounds. Forklift trucks, cranes or other heavy equipment as well as services like the transportation of exhibits, stand structures etc. incl. the supply of any auxiliary equipment can only be ordered from the forwarding agents appointed by us at the premises. These exercise the exclusive right of freight forwarding at Messe Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre and will be pleased to help you.
