METAV web sessions

In summer 2020, we launched the METAV Web Sessions and have since developed them further. They offer exhibitors a virtual platform to be present in the market and customers an opportunity to stay informed about current developments in the metal working industry. After a five-day event in June 2020, the theme days Software, Automation and Handling and Digitisation were held from October to December. From January to March 2021, theme days on precision tools and production processes, medical technology and 3D printing, components and accessories, measuring technology and quality management as well as machine tools and systems are planned.

In total, nearly 100 exhibitors have reached almost 6,000 participants in some 140 web sessions so far. Within the framework of METAV digital, a 20-minute presentation will be followed in each session by a 15-minute question and answer period, providing new and existing customers with an initial opportunity for dialogue via the chat function. It is also possible to make appointments with the speakers in order to go into greater detail directly afterwards or catch up at a later date for specific talks. After each web session, speakers receive a statistical evaluation with questions asked by participants and contact information compliant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
