40 years of passion

As a reliable force in metalworking, METAV stands for a trade fair whose structures provide an ideal environment for constructive dialogue. To ensure that you feel completely at ease at METAV reloaded 2020, Messe Düsseldorf has developed officially approved hygiene and infection protection standards for all visitors, exhibitors and employees.

Your online ticket, please. Exhibition tickets are sold exclusively online, after registration by name and for a specific day. For you this means: no waiting at the cash desks and no cash payment. Only a limited number of eTickets is available for each day.

Safely to your destination. Your eTicket also doubles as a ticket for a return trip on VRR. For reasons of hygiene, when travelling by car, we recommend you to buy the parking vouchers online. From the parking lots, visitors can either take the Messe Düsseldorf buses or walk to the trade entrances. In the buses, the hygiene regulations apply in the same way as for public transport.

Enough room for everyone. With over 35,000 sqm of exhibition space, we offer enough room for a enough visitors. This already starts right at the entrance: speedy access, spacious entrance and waiting areas, wide aisles in the halls and routing as in road traffic allow for the observance of distancing measures.

Your safety always in mind. Our service and security staff on site and video monitoring ensure that visitor crowds are avoided and general rules are observed. For your protection and for your carefree
trade fair experience.

We wear face masks. We stand together as a METAV community by taking care of each other. Therefore, please wear a face mask for the protection of all trade fair participants.

By far the best idea. Even if we ask you to maintain the proven minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other trade fair participants, at METAV reloaded 2020 you are very close to the trends in metalworking, automation and digitalisation. Distance markings and the route guidance systems provide orientation.

Breathe freely. Ensuring enough distance so you can forego your face mask both outdoors and at your seat.

We ensure hygiene. In all areas, sufficient sanitizer dispensers for hand hygiene are available to the trade fair participants. All exposed surfaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected by us.

Fresh air quality in the halls. Our air-handling systems ensure a regular exchange of air in the halls. The quality of the fresh air supplied corresponds to that of the outdoor air. All systems are regularly checked by independent experts to ensure they are in perfect hygienic condition.

Open doors. Wherever possible, we leave all doors between the halls and to the outdoor premises wide open for you. This allows you to enter without contact.

We are happy to assist you. If you do not feel well, our local medical service will be happy to help you with advice and support. If you should show cold symptoms in the run-up to the event, we ask you to refrain from visiting the METAV reloaded 2020 for the protection of the community.

We observe the etiquette. Children and adults have learned it in the last months: please sneeze or cough in the crook of your arm. Preferably with a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and turned away from other people.

Contact without physical contact. For some time now we have known: politeness doesn‘t need handshakes. Therefore, please refrain from shaking hands and physical contact when visiting the trade fair.

Brochures to go. At METAV reloaded 2020 we and our exhibitors will be pleased to provide you with information material around the fair as well about the exhibits. Feel free to help yourself, but please do not put the material back.

That is how the catering sector works. In the restaurants and on the exhibitors‘ stands, the general rules of gastronomy apply, which you already know. Please register and only remove your face mask when you have taken your seats.*

*Us, the Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, we offer exhibitors the option to comply with their obligation to enable retraceability according to the Corona Protection Regulation “Coronaschutzverordnung NRW” by scanning your visitor badge. This is relevant in particular, if an exhibitors also offers catering. This service is subject to the visitor allowing the exhibitor to scan the barcode on their admission ticket. We shall submit to the exhibitor your name, your address, your phone number and the time you enter and leave an exhibition booth.
