Real & Digital - The Perfect Match

The trade fair year 2020 had many surprises in store: for the first time in its history, the METAV could not take place as planned - the METAV went digital. In well over 200 web sessions, exhibitors showed live and user-oriented how their products and processes can solve real production problems.

In March 2021, the trade fair broke new ground and welcomed trade visitors purely virtually with 3D trade fair stands and a matchmaking platform for METAV digital. We are building on this experience and bringing together real and digital offerings for the hybrid METAV 2022.

The METAV is the gateway to Europe's largest industrial area. Since 1980, it has offered a seamless range of products and services for production technology companies in North Rhine-Westphalia and the surrounding European region.
