HYTAP®

HYTAP® Self-Emulsifying Tapping Oil

Oemeta introduces the product HYTAP® - a lubricant which fits seamlessly into the HYCUT® product family. The product, like all of the HYCUT® family, is sourced from renewable resources and thus free of mineral oil. It is a high performance cutting oil for machining processes with high demands on the lubrication.

These demands can be found, for example, when threading and thread-moulding as well as the processing of hard to machine materials such as stainless steel and aluminium alloys with high silicon content.

Due to the high lubrication and high-pressure capacity, fast tool wear is effectively prevented. A high viscosity of 220 cSt (40°C), or 538 cSt (20°C) simplifies the manual application to tool or work piece. The product also contains a special adhesion promoter that provides an effective film between tool and application.

The special feature of HYTAP® is that it is self-emulsifying in any kind of water based fluid. Therefore cleaning with a simple aqueous medium is easier and, if further processing of the component is required using metalworking fluid, additional washes are not even necessary.

HYTAP® is particularly suitable for processes that need an extra boost of lubrication within machines that are filled with conventional water mixed cooling lubricants. In some instances the coolant in use is not powerful enough for certain machining processes so HYTAP® can be added to solve the problem. Contrary to conventional cutting oils which would contaminate the water based coolant, HYTAP® emulsifies simply into the system, even supporting the lubrication of the filled coolant.

The product is available in 500 ml bottles with an applicator tip for the manual application. Other package sizes are available upon request.

Machine CLEANER EC

Oemeta offers an innovation in machine cleaning. CLEANER EC was especially designed to simplify the daily cleaning of machine tools that run on coolant emulsions or oil free coolants. Besides the superior cleaning effect the product is 100% compatible with any coolant from Oemeta. Thus any negative impact of the cleaner to the fluid (splitting, foaming, odour, etc.) is eliminated.
Additionally CLEANER EC is equipped with a highly efficient corrosion protection package that ensures temporary protection for cleaned and degreased parts.

The product is available in 1000ml bottles with pump spray nozzle for manual application. Other package sizes are available on request.
