The METAV is an international showcase for manufacturing technology and automation. It displays the entire scope of state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies for the metalworking industry – from machine tools, precision tools, automation technology to complete systems made to customers’ specification.

Initiated in 1980, the METAV with its focus on the European markets takes place bi-annually in the even years.
