6th Dortmund Grinding Seminar “METAV Special 2016”

The Institute of Machining Technology (ISF) at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is an international leader in research work on the relevant metal-cutting processes, and the information technology environment involved. In conjunction with the VDW, the ISF will be hosting the 6th Dortmund Grinding Seminar “METAV Special 2016” in Düsseldorf again on 25 and 26 February 2016. The event will be offering soundly based expert presentations from research institutes and industrial companies on the topics of machinery and its shop-floor environment, tools and processes. A three-stage concept will be providing comprehensive insights into ongoing innovations, potentials and practical implementations in the field of grinding technology. The seminar aims to encourage intensive mutual feedback between the academic community and the industrial sector. Thanks to the seminar’s being associated with the METAV, manufacturers and users will also be involved in the dialogue.
