Growth determines the new year – forecast for 2012!
23/01/2012
„Growth“. That’s the adequate word to describe best this year’s development of Handtmann A-Punkt Automation GmbH. The currently good deal of incoming orders for machining centres, we got from national and international customers last year, is giving us a safe planning reliability and enables us to look quite positively into this business year.
Sure, as an internationally active company we are not less affected by the insecurities with the Euro than other companies. Currently we rather profit from the “weak” Euro, which is reflected by the incoming orders from countries, we invoice in USD. On the long-run, though, we sure all hope for a stabilization of the financial sector.
Our growth in sales in the binary area, compared to the previous year, also keeps some real challenges for us. Demographic change on the one hand and full employment in the region of Oberschwaben on the other hand, don’t simplify our human ressources planning at all, whereas our plans are to noticeably expand our HR. Due to these challenges we are aware of the importance of keeping and bringing forward our qualified manpower. ‘Cause also this is part of the seal of quality “made in Germany”: Founded on the proven education system, the existing know-how and the mentality in general, German specialists are internationally respected and represent high quality labour. Our sales forecast illustrates undoubtedly that the quality characteristic “made in Germany” is still an important decision-maker and highlights the strength of the industrial location Germany. Despite of a few new orders from known German aircraft component suppliers, Handtmann machining centres are especially strong in export. Besides the European market, current developments promise considerable growth in Russia and specially Asia.
To guarantee our customer active on-site-support after purchase of the machining centres, we will do significant investments in terms of “service”. Training and educating service technicians with good technical know-how are of top-priority in order to establish our long-term service-consciousness internationally. While the already proven service points in Russia expect notable growth in manpower, we just laid the foundation for establishing a new service base in China. Particularly strong in these markets is the aerospace industry. According to the ongoing trend of growth in the aerospace industry, the strategic orientation of Handtmann A-Punkt is pretty much affected in this direction. However, we still keep and strengthen our competences in other branches. Thus we aim for a broad coverage of different branches with our new machine concept, which we will be introducing in 2012. Handtmann A-Punkt Automation is looking forward to a prospective development across different markets.
